The film has completed 50 days of its release and in all these days it has proved with a bang that only strong scripts work in theatres. Released on November 18, no other movie could stand before this film, be it Varun Dhawan’s ‘Bhediya’ or Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’.

‘Drishyam 2’ has been released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. The film is in rental now not on prime subscription so subscriber has to paid extra money for the movie and its free streaming is expected till 26th January. However, despite coming on OTT, people are liking to watch it in theatres. Its earnings continue unabated.

Earned this much in 50 days

‘Drishyam 2’ has completed 50 days of release at the box office. The film proved on the very first day itself that it will be a long race horse and it happened. ‘Drishyam 2’ has so far earned Rs 236.75 crore in 7 weeks. It is expected to reach 240 crores in the coming days. The film has crossed the 330 crore mark worldwide.

Second week – Rs 58.82 crore

Third week – Rs 32.82 crore

4th week – Rs 19.40 crore

Total collection  – Rs 236.75 crore

Let us tell you that the biggest release of this January is Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Pathan, which is releasing on January 25. Till then the field is empty for Drishyam 2 and its earnings are expected to increase.
